Charges

Our charges for the placement of the domestic help/maid are equivalent to one month's salary of the candidate plus 18% GST extra.

Replacement Policy

Replacement period is 6 months from the date of joining of the first maid, with a maximum of 3 replacements. If for any reason the client cancels the contract, no refund will be made.

Payment Terms

The amount paid at the time of joining is strictly recruitment/service charges. The salary of the maid is to be paid separately by the client directly to the maid on a monthly basis.

Confidentiality

Introductions are strictly confidential. If a client introduces a candidate to a third party, who then hires the candidate (full-time or part-time), the client agrees to pay Gethelpmate.com the placement charges.

Verification

While every effort is made to introduce satisfactory candidates, it is the responsibility of the client to verify suitability of the applicant before hiring. Medical checks, if required, must be arranged by the client. Gethelpmate.com will assist wherever possible.

Job Description

The client must provide a clear job description and salary before placement. The maid cannot be asked to perform work outside this job description or face a salary reduction. If the maid leaves due to such reasons, Gethelpmate.com will neither replace the maid nor refund charges.

Replacement Conditions

If dissatisfied with a maid, the client must provide 15 days' notice before releasing her. Replacements cannot be offered a lower salary or different job description. All dues of the previous maid must be cleared before a replacement is arranged.

Absence Policy

If the maid is absent due to illness/family emergency but intends to return, no replacement will be provided. If she does not return within 10 days, a replacement can be requested.

Legal Responsibility

Clients are strongly advised to carry out Police Verification of the maid. Gethelpmate.com is not responsible for any civil/criminal actions committed by the candidate.

Salary Adjustments

Salary expectations may change based on market trends. If a replacement maid demands a higher salary, the client must adjust accordingly. No refund claims will be entertained.

Advance Payments

Advance salary payments are at the client's discretion. Gethelpmate.com is not liable if the maid leaves after receiving advance payment.

Replacement Policy Details

If invoices are settled and the maid resigns, a free replacement will be provided. Replacement time is usually 15 days, but may vary. If a replacement cannot be arranged within 15 days, a credit note will be issued, usable for any future Gethelpmate services.

Client Responsibilities

• Clients must check the maid's bags/personal belongings when entering and leaving the home.
• Clients must not harm, torture, or mentally/physically abuse the maid.
• Increasing work or reducing salary beyond what was agreed is prohibited.
• If the maid leaves for such reasons, Gethelpmate.com will not provide replacement or refund.
• Gethelpmate.com will not be responsible for any advances or goods given by clients to maids.
• Payments must be made in favour of 'Gethelpmate Private Limited.'

Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai Courts only.
